"final proposal" for Lindsey Oil Refinery takeover
After submitting an expression of interest in September, the London-based firm is preparing to submit a final proposal to take over the full site – following speculation that the site could be sold off in separate parts.
A TPMC spokesperson told Energy Voice: “For over four months, we have attempted to negotiate an acquisition of this key UK site. Our approach with initial interest was based on a full acquisition of the site and that intention has not changed.”

"binding deal" on the horizon
It comes after 125 jobs were lost at the end of October this year, after the Prax facility, which supplies around 10% of the UK’s refinery capacity, went into administration in June.
The decision was confirmed as local Conservative MP Martin Vickers got a debate in Parliament over the sales process of the site, which is expected this side of Christmas.
